Meet Dogs2Love on YouTube: Bucky, Tommy, Shelter Dogs & a Whole Lot of Love 🐾❤️

If there’s one thing you should know about us here at Dogs2Love, it’s right there in the name — we love dogs.

Dogs2Love started from a simple love for the dogs that have been part of our family, but it has grown into something more. Along with Dogs2Love.com, we now have a Dogs2Love YouTube channel where we share funny moments, everyday adventures, memories, and visits with dogs still waiting for families of their own.

Meet Bucky & Tommy

The two dogs you’ll see most often on Dogs2Love are Bucky and Tommy, and they couldn't have more different personalities.

Bucky is our brown-and-white boy and the old soul of the family. He can be sweet, serious, goofy, and incredibly expressive — sometimes all in the same video.

Then there’s Tommy.

Tommy is our little white ball of energy. He’s young, wild, playful, and always seems to find a way to turn an ordinary moment into something worth recording.

Put Bucky and Tommy together and you never quite know what you’re going to get. They compete for toys, chase things they probably shouldn't, beg for treats, steal seats, wrestle, play and generally remind us every day why life is better with dogs.

Those simple moments are a big part of what the Dogs2Love YouTube channel is all about.

Remembering Cody ❤️

Before Tommy came along, there was Cody.

Cody was part of our family for around 12 years, and although he is no longer with us, he'll always be part of Dogs2Love.

We still have videos and memories of Cody, including moments he shared with Bucky. Looking back at those videos is bittersweet, but we're grateful we have them.

Anyone who has loved and lost a dog understands that they never completely leave you. The house may change. Another dog may eventually come into your life. Years may pass.

But you still remember them.

Their favorite spot.

The little things they did.

The way they looked at you.

And somehow, even years later, thinking about them can make you smile.

Cody is part of our family's story, which means he's part of the Dogs2Love story too. 🐾

Our Visits to the Animal Shelter

One of the newest parts of the Dogs2Love YouTube channel has been sharing visits to our local animal shelter.

And those visits can be tough.

You walk past kennel after kennel and see dogs of every size and personality. Some come running up wanting attention. Some bark like they're trying their hardest to get noticed. Others sit quietly and look at you with those eyes that make it almost impossible to walk away.

And then there are the ones that make you think:

“Can we take this one home?”

Actually, that happens a lot.

We've met big dogs, little dogs, puppies, energetic dogs, shy dogs and dogs that act tough for the first few seconds before showing you just how sweet they really are.

We've even met a few that made us wonder how Bucky and Tommy would feel about getting another sibling!

The shelter videos aren't meant to be sad. We want people to see these dogs.

Behind every kennel door is an individual dog with a personality and a story. They aren't just “shelter dogs.” They're potential best friends, couch buddies, walking partners and family members waiting for someone to notice them.

If one of our videos makes somebody think about visiting their own local shelter or adopting a dog someday, then sharing those videos was worth it.

Why We Started Sharing Our Dogs on YouTube

Dogs don't have to do anything extraordinary to make a great memory.

Sometimes it's Bucky giving us a certain look.

Sometimes it's Tommy going crazy over a toy.

Sometimes it's the two of them competing over something neither one cared about five minutes earlier.

And sometimes it's simply catching a quiet moment that we know we'll be thankful we recorded someday.

That's really the heart of the Dogs2Love YouTube channel.

We're not trying to pretend every day with dogs is perfect. Dogs make messes. They steal things. They bark. They wake you up. They cost money. They somehow manage to take over your bed and your furniture.

And we'd have it no other way.

Because in return, they give us something pretty incredible: unconditional love, companionship, laughter and memories that stay with us long after they're gone.

Come Join the Dogs2Love Family 🐶🐾

If you're someone who stops to pet every dog you meet, talks to your dog like another member of the family, or can't walk through an animal shelter without wanting to bring half of them home, you'll probably fit right in with us.

On our channel you'll find Bucky & Tommy adventures, funny dog moments, memories of Cody, shelter visits, Shorts and plenty of everyday dog life.

We're still growing the Dogs2Love channel, and we'd love to have you along for the journey.

❤️ Visit Dogs2Love on YouTube, watch a few videos, and subscribe if you love dogs as much as we do:
